Apprentice competition: FACC Future Team achieves top rankings

The apprentices of FACC AG have celebrated their outstanding achievements at the latest Upper Austrian apprentice competition of the industry division: the FACC Future Team took first to third place in the category Plastics Technology, and the excellent third place in the category Women in Technology was awarded to a crew member of FACC. The management of FACC AG congratulated the young award winners in person.

FACC apprentices regularly achieve top rankings in apprentice competitions. This success story of the FACC Future Team is now being continued seamlessly: the apprentice competition of the industry division was recently held, in which more than 600 apprentices from more than 70 companies took part. Seven FACC apprentices participated very successfully in the competition, and four were able to achieve top places. Especially the female crew members gave fantastic performances: all four awards were won by young ladies of the FACC crew. In the category "Plastics Technology", Antonia Marie Wölfleder, Elena Leitner and Verena Pühringer took first to third place. In the special category "Women in Technology", Antonia Marie Wölfleder was able to hold her own in the face of strong competition.

“Our Future Team is of great importance to us - this is where our top employees of tomorrow are trained,” emphasizes CEO Robert Machtlinger. “We warmly congratulate the winners, and are thrilled about their commitment and great dedication,” adds COO Andreas Ockel. This success also underscores the high standards of apprentice training at FACC. Apprentices who successfully complete their training face unlimited opportunities in the international world of aviation and aerospace.

7 weeks of vacation and paid driving license

FACC's appreciation for its youngest team members is also reflected in the total of 7 weeks of vacation that apprentices are entitled to at FACC. In addition, the cost of their driving license is covered if they complete their apprenticeship with good results. The option of an apprenticeship with school-leaving exams (Matura) is also very popular among the 40-strong team.
