FACC Future Team takes first place at WKO Apprentice Award

The FACC Future Team achieved top results in the WKO apprentice competition in the industrial sector, underlining the high quality of apprentice training at FACC.

822 apprentices from 90 companies: This year, the WKO Apprentice Competition of the Industry Division was able to attract a record number of participants who demonstrated their diverse skills in their various areas of expertise. 14 FACC apprentices also successfully took part in the competition and delivered top performances: A total of five FACC apprentices were able to achieve Very Good or Good grades in the competition. Laurenz Hager-Roiser also won first place in the composite technology category. The awards were presented on June 24 at the Business Club of the LASK Stadium in Linz. The high level of professionalism of FACC's apprentice training program was once again demonstrated by this outstanding team performance: In previous years, the FACC Future Team had already made a big impression with top placings in the WKO apprenticeship competition.

FACC CEO Robert Machtlinger emphasized the high value placed on apprenticeship training at FACC and congratulated the competition participants: "The FACC Future Team trains the top employees of tomorrow. We are proud of the outstanding success of our apprentices, who have shown that they are among the best in their field throughout Austria. With their skills and excellent training, all doors are open to them for a successful career."

Apprenticeship as a career boost

FACC is one of the top aviation companies worldwide - all major manufacturers rely on the know-how of the Austrian aviation specialist. This means that all doors are open to graduates of an apprenticeship in the international world of aerospace. Apprenticeships are offered in the areas of application development coding, operational logistics (from 01.09.2025), purchasing, composite fiber technology, production measurement technology (from 01.09.2026), information technology systems technology, design, metal technology/machining technology and process technology. FACC's appreciation of its youngest team members is also reflected in a total of seven weeks' vacation for apprentices and free lunch in the canteen. In addition, the cost of a driver's license is covered for apprentices who complete their apprenticeship with good grades.
