FACC is among the most family-friendly employers in Austria

FACC AG has been recognized as a family-friendly employer for its wide range of measures to reconcile work and family life.

Flexible working time models and the provision of all-day childcare at FACC have contributed significantly to a better balance between work and family life for many years. With the establishment of the FACC Wings for Women network two years ago, a further important step was taken to support women during their professional lives and thus also to increase equal opportunities. FACC AG has now been certified as a family-friendly employer for this mix of measures: Bernadett Humer, Head of the Family and Youth Section at the Federal Chancellery of the Republic of Austria, presented the state quality mark this Wednesday at a festive event in the Aula der Wissenschaften in Vienna, recognizing FACC's commitment to more family-friendliness at work.

“A good compatibility of work and family is essential for sustainable corporate success,” emphasizes Martina Hamedinger, VP Human Resources. “At FACC, we see it as our task to create the framework conditions for top performance. This includes a focus on life-phase-oriented working and the associated flexibility as well as support for childcare and the professional advancement of women.”

Over 300 working time models

More than 300 different working time models in the company underline the flexibility that FACC AG offers its employees in organizing their working time. The focus is on creating an environment that is particularly responsive to the needs of families. This also includes a focus on job sharing - including management positions: This enables part-time working mothers or fathers to continue their careers without gaps. In addition to flexitime and working from home, parents are offered the opportunity to coordinate their working hours. This option is also available for production employees with so-called opposite shifts.

FACC as one of the most attractive employer brands in Austria

In the competition for the best employees, measures for more diversity and family friendliness play a major role - also in view of the continuing shortage of skilled workers. FACC's successful positioning as a family-friendly employer is also reflected in a large-scale study conducted by the personnel service provider Randstad, in which FACC was ranked among the six best employers in Austria. First place was achieved in Upper Austria. The receipt of the Leading Employer Award 2024 also underlines FACC's position as one of Austria's TOP employers.
